Hadees Volume 1
لاَ تَحَاسَدُوْا وَكُونُوْا عِبَادَ اللّٰهِ إِخْوَانًا
Do not be jealous of one another. O worshippers of Allah, become brothers among yourselves.
ایک دوسرے سے حسد نہ کرو اور اے اللہ کے بندو ں آپس میں بھائی بھائی بن جا ؤ

Give a salutation (Sunan Abi Dawud 5197)
إِنَّ أَوْلَى النَّاسِ بِاللّٰهِ مَنْ بَدَأَهُمْ بِالسَّلاَمِ
Those who are nearest to Allah are they who are first to give a salutation.
لوگوں میں اللہ کے سب سے نزدیک وہ ہیں
جو پہلے سلام کرے۔

Eat with right hand (Sunan Ibn Majah 3268)
لَا تَأْكُلُوْا بِالشِّمَالِ فَإِنَّ الشَّيْطَانَ يَأْكُلُ بِالشِّمَالِ
Do not eat with your left hand, for Satan eats with his left hand.
بائیں ہاتھ سے نہ کھاؤ کیونکہ شیطان بائیں ہاتھ سے کھاتا ہے۔

eating in the name of allah (Sunan Abi Dawud 3777)
فَسَمِّ اللّٰهَ وَكُلْ بِيَمِيْنِكَ وَكُلْ مِمَّا يَلِيْكَ
Mention Allah’s name, eat with your right hand and eat from what is next to you.
اللہ کے نام سے شورو کرو اور اپنے دہانے ہاتھ سے کھاؤ اور اپنے پاس سے کھاو۔

eating manner (Sahih al-Bukhari 5399)
لاَ آكُلُ وَأَنَا مُتَّكِئٌ
I do not eat my meals while leaning.
میں ٹیک لگا کر کھانا نہیں کھاتا۔

Beware of lying (Sunan Ibn Majah 3849)
إِيَّاكُمْ وَالْكَذِبَ
You must beware of lying.
جھوٹ سے بچو۔
7
Drinking water (Sahih al-Bukhari 153)
إِذَا شَرِبَ أَحَدُكُمْ فَلَا يَتَنَفَّسْ فِي الإِنَاءِ
Whenever anyone of you drinks water, he should not breathe in the drinking utensil.
جب تم میں سے کوئی پانی پئے
تو پینے کے برتن میں سانس نہ لے۔

do not become angry (Sahih al-Bukhari 6116)
لاَ تَغْضَبْ
Do not become angry and furious.
غصہ مت کرو۔
9
Allah loves kindness (Sahih Muslim 2593)
إِنَّ اللّٰهَ رَفِيْقٌ يُحِبُّ الرِّفْقَ
Verily Allah is kind and He loves kindness
بے شک اللہ نرم ہے اور نرمی کو پسند کرتا ہے

good behavior (Jami` at-Tirmidhi 1987)
خَالِقِ النَّاسَ بِخُلُقٍ حَسَنٍ
Treat the people with good behavior.
لوگون کے ساتھ حسن سلوک سے پیش آئیں

11
seeking knowledge (Sunan Ibn Majah 224)
طَلُبُ الْعِلْمِ فَرِيْضَةٌ عَلٰى كُلِّ مُسْلِمٍ
Seeking knowledge is a duty upon every Muslim
علم حاصل کرنا ہر مسلمان پر فرض ہے۔

Be kind to your parents (Sunan al-Tirmidhī 1900)
رِضَا الرَّبِّ فِي رِضَا الْوَالِدِ وَسَخَط الرَّبِّ فِيْ سَخَطِ الْوَالِدِ
“The Lord’s pleasure is in the parent’s pleasure, and the Lord’s anger is in the parent’s anger.”(Hasan).
رب کی رضا والدین کی رضا میں ہے
اور رب کی ناراضگی والدین کی ناراضگی میں۔

Learning Quran (Sahih al-Bukhari 5027)
خَيْرُكُمْ مَنْ تَعَلَّمَ الْقُرْآنَ وَعَلَّمَهُ
The best among you (Muslims) are those who learn the Qur’an and teach it
تم میں سے بہترین (مسلمان) وہ ہے
جو قرآن سیکھے اور سکھائے۔

act of kindness (Mishkat al-Masabih 1893)
كُلُّ مَعْرُوْفٍ صَدَقَةٌ
Every act of kindness is a charity.
ہر معروف (اچھی بات ، بھلایی کا کام) صدقہ ہے۔
15
Showing mercy (Jami` at-Tirmidhi 1922)
مَنْ لَّا يَرْحَمُ النَّاسَ لَا يَرْحَمُهُ اللّٰهُ
Whoever does not show mercy to the people, Allah will not show mercy to him.
جو لوگوں پر رحم نہیں کرتا اللہ اس پر رحم نہیں کرتا۔
16
Salah (Namaz) (Sunan an-Nasa’i 3931)
جُعِلَ قُرَّةُ عَيْنِي فِي الصَّلَاةِ
My comfort has been provided in prayer.
میری آنکھوں کی ٹھنڈک نماز میں بنایی گی ہے۔
17
Be a giver not begger (Sunan an-Nasa’i 2534)
اَلْيَدُ الْعُلْيَا خَيْرٌ مِّنَ الْيَدِ السُّفْلَى
The upper hand is better than the lower hand.
اوپر والا ہاتھ (دینے والا) نیچے والے
ہاتھ (لینے والے) سے بہتر ہے۔

Love Ones (Sahih al-Bukhari 6170)
اَلْمَرْءُ مَعَ مَنْ أَحَبَّ
Everyone will be with those whom he loves.
آدمی اسی کہ ساتھ ہوگا
جس سے وہ محبت کرتا ہے۔

Greeting everyone (Sahih al-Bukhari 6231)
يُسَلِّمُ الصَّغِيرُ عَلَى الْكَبِيرِ، وَالْمَارُّ عَلَى الْقَاعِدِ
وَالْقَلِيلُ عَلَى الْكَثِيرِ
The young should greet the old, the passer by should greet the sitting one, and the small group of persons should greet the large group of persons.
جوان بوڑھے کو سلام کرے
راہگیر بیٹھے ہوئے کو سلام کرے اور
تھوڑے لوگ زیادہ لوگوں کو سلام کریں۔

be a good Neighbor (Sahih al-Bukhari 6475)
مَنْ كَانَ يُؤْمِنُ بِاللّٰهِ وَالْيَوْمِ الآخِرِ فَلاَ يُؤْذِ جَارَهُ
Whoever believes in Allah and the Last Day should not hurt (or insult) his neighbor.
جو شخص اللہ اور یوم آخرت پر ایمان رکھتا ہے
وہ اپنے پڑوسی کو تکلیف نہ دے۔

21
blessing upon profit ﷺ (Mishkat al-Masabih 933)
اَلْبَخِيْلُ الَّذِيْ ذُكِرْتُ عِنْدَهُ فَلَمْ يُصَلِّ عَلَيَّ
The niggardly one is the man in whose presence I am mentioned but who does not invoke a blessing on me
کنجوس وہ ہے جس کے سامنے میرا ذکر کیا جائے
لیکن وہ مجھ پر درود نہ بھیجے۔
22
Charity (Jami` at-Tirmidhi 664)
إِنَّ الصَّدَقَةَ لَتُطْفِئُ غَضَبَ الرَّبِّ
Indeed charity extinguishes the Lord’s anger.
بے شک صدقہ رب کے غصہ کو بجھاتا ہے۔
23
curse of the Oppressed (Sahih al-Bukhari 2448)
اِتَّقِ دَعْوَةَ الْمَظْلُومِ، فَإِنَّهَا لَيْسَ بَيْنَهَا وَبَيْنَ اللّٰهِ حِجَابٌ
Be afraid, from the curse of the oppressed as there is no screen between his invocation and Allah
ڈرو مظلوم کی بددعا سے کیونکہ اس کی
دعا اور اللہ کے درمیان کوئی پردہ نہیں ہوتا

ask allah for help (Sunan Abi Dawud 1479)
اَلدُّعَاءُ هُوَ الْعِبَادَةُ وَ قَالَ رَبُّكُمُ ادْعُوْنِیْۤ اَسْتَجِبْ لَكُمْ” ”
Supplication (du’a’) is itself the worship.
(He then recited:) “And your Lord said: Call on Me, I will answer you”
دعا بذات خود عبادت ہے۔
اور تمہارے رب نے کہا
مجھے پکارو، میں تمہاری دعا قبول کرونگا۔
25
following profit ﷺ Sunnah (Sunan an-Nasa’i 3219)
فَمَنْ رَغِبَ عَنْ سُنَّتِيْ فَلَيْسَ مِنِّيْ
Whoever turns away from my Sunnah is not of me.
جو بھی میری سنت اعتراز کرے وہ ہم میں سے نہیں۔
26
Good morals (Sunan Abi Dawud 4799)
مَا مِنْ شَيْءٍ فِي الْمِيزَانِ أَثْقَلُ مِنْ حُسْنِ الْخُلُقِ
The heaviest thing which will be put on the believer’s scale (on the Day of Resurrection) will be good morals.
(قیامت کے دن( سب سے بھاری چیز جو مومن کے
میزان پر رکھی جائے گی وہ اچھے اخلاق ہوں گے۔
27
Good manners (Sunan Abi Dawud 4682)
أَكْمَلُ الْمُؤْمِنِيْنَ إِيمَانًا أَحْسَنُهُمْ خُلُقًا
The most perfect believers in respect of faith is he who is best of them in manners.
ایمان کے اعتبار سے کامل ترین مومن وہ ہے
جو اخلاق میں سب سے اچھا ہو۔
28
Eating Manner (Sunan Abi Dawud 3776)
إِذَا أَكَلَ أَحَدُكُمْ فَلْيَأْكُلْ بِيَمِيْنِهِ وَإِذَا شَرِبَ فَلْيَشْرَبْ بِيَمِيْنِهِ فَإِنَّ الشَّيْطَانَ يَأْكُلُ بِشِمَالِهِ وَيَشْرَبُ بِشِمَالِهِ
When any of you eats, he should eat with his right hand, and when he drinks, he should drink with his right hand, for the devil eats with his left hand and drinks with his left hand
جب تم میں سے کوئی کھائے تو دائیں ہاتھ سے کھائے اور جب پیے تو داہنے ہاتھ سے پیے
کیونکہ شیطان بائیں ہاتھ سے کھاتا ہے
اور بائیں ہاتھ سے پیتا ہے۔
29
piety & good Manners (Sunan Ibn Majah 4246)
مَا أَكْثَرُ مَا يُدْخِلُ الْجَنَّةَ قَالَ : ” اَلتَّقْوٰى وَحُسْنُ الْخُلُقِ
What most admits people to Paradise?’ He said: ‘Piety and good manners
کون سی چیز لوگوں کو سب سے زیادہ جنت میں داخل کرتی ہے؟ آپﷺ نے فرمایا تقویٰ اور حسن اخلاق۔
30
Leading to Good deeds (Jami` at-Tirmidhi 2671)
مَنْ دَلَّ عَلٰى خَيْرٍ فَلَهٗ مِثْلُ أَجْرِ فَاعِلِهِ
Whoever leads to good, then for him is the same reward as the one who does it.
جو شخص نیکی کی طرف لے جائے
تو اس کے لیے اس کے کرنے والے
کے برابر اجر ہے۔

31
clean Mosque (Sunan Ibn Majah 757)
مَنْ أَخْرَجَ أَذًى مِنَ الْمَسْجِدِ بَنَى اللّٰهُ لَهُ بَيْتًا فِي الْجَنَّةِ
Whoever removes something harmful from the mosque, Allah will build for him a house in Paradise
جس نے مسجد سے کوئی نقصان دہ چیز ہٹائی تو
اللہ تعالیٰ اس کے لیے جنت میں گھر بنائے گا۔
32
modesty (Sunan an-Nasa’i 5009)
اَلْحَيَاءُ شُعْبَةٌ مِّنَ الْاِيْمَانِ
Modesty (Al-Haya’) is a branch of Faith.
حیا ایمان کا حصہ ہے۔
33
Virtue & vice (Sahih Muslim 2553)
اَلْبِرُّ حُسْنُ الْخُلُقِ وَالإِثْمُ مَا حَاكَ فِي نَفْسِكَ
وَكَرِهْتَ أَنْ يَطَّلِعَ عَلَيْهِ النَّاسُ
Virtue is a kind disposition and vice is what rankles in your mind and that you disapprove of its being known to the people
نیکی ایک حسن سلوک ہے اور برائی وہ ہے
جو آپ کے ذہن میں کھٹکے اور آپ نا پسند کریں کہ لوگ اس کو جانيں ۔
34
seeking knowledge (Jami` at-Tirmidhi 2646)
مَنْ سَلَكَ طَرِيقًا يَلْتَمِسُ فِيهِ عِلْمًا سَهَّلَ اللّٰهُ لَهُ طَرِيْقًا إِلَى الْجَنَّةِ
Whoever takes a path upon which to obtain knowledge, Allah makes the path to Paradise easy for him.
جو علم حاصل کرنے کے ارادہ سے کہیں جائے تو
اللہ اس کے لیے جنت کے راستے کو آسان کردیتا ہے
35
kindness (Mishkat al-Masabih 1894)
لَا تَحْقِرَنَّ مِنَ الْمَعْرُوفِ وَلَوْ أَنْ تَلْقَى أَخَاكَ بِوَجْهٍ طَلِيْقٍ
Do not consider any act of kindness insignificant, even meeting your brother with a cheerful face.
نیکی کہ کسی بھی کام کو معمولی مت سمجھو
خواہ تم اپنے بھایی کو مسکراتے چہرے سے ملو
36
Endurance (Sunan Abi Dawud 3124)
إِنَّمَا الصَّبْرُ عِنْدَ الصَّدْمَةِ الأُولَى
Endurance is shown only at a first blow.
صبر وہی ہوتا ہے جو پہلے صدمہ کہ وقت ہو

understand hadith (Sunan Abi Dawud 3660)
نَضَّرَ اللَّهُ امْرَأً سَمِعَ مِنَّا حَدِيْثًا فَحَفِظَهُ حَتّٰى يُبَلِّغَهُ
May Allah brighten a man who hears a Hadith from us, gets it by heart and passes it on to others
اللہ تعالیٰ اس بندے کو روشن کرے
جو ہم سے حدیث سنے، اسے دل سے
سمجھے اور دوسروں تک پہنچائے۔
38
protection from fire (Sunan an-Nasa’i 2553)
اِتَّقُوا النَّارَ وَلَوْ بِشِقِّ تَمْرَةٍ
Protect yourselves from the Fire, even with half a date
اپنے آپ کو (جہنم کی)آگ سے بچاؤ
یہاں تک کہ آدھی کھجور کے ساتھ
39
i seek refuge (Sunan Ibn Majah 250)
اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَعُوذُ بِكَ مِنْ عِلْمٍ لاَ يَنْفَعُ وَمِنْ دُعَاءٍ لاَ يُسْمَعُ وَمَنْ قَلْبٍ لاَ يَخْشَعُ وَمِنْ نَفْسٍ لاَ تَشْبَعُ
O Allah, I seek refuge with You from knowledge that is of no benefit, from a supplication that is not heard, from a heart that does not fear (You) and from a soul that is not satisfied
اے اللہ میں تیری پناہ مانگتا ہوں ایسے علم سے جو بے فائدہ ہو ایسی دعا سے جو سنی نہ جائے ایسے دل سے جو تجھ سے نہ ڈرے اور ایسے نفس سے جو مطمئن نہ ہو۔
40
value of two blessings (Sahih al-Bukhari 6412)
نِعْمَتَانِ مَغْبُوْنٌ فِيْهِمَا كَثِيْرٌ مِّنَ النَّاسِ: اَلصِّحَّةُ وَالْفَراغُ
There are two blessings in which many people incur loss. (They are) health and free time (for doing good)
دو نعمتیں ایسی ہیں جن میں بہت سے لوگ خسارے میں ہیں۔ (وہ) صحت اور فارغ وقت
(نیکی کرنے کے لیے)
