Niyyah, or intention, is an important part of Wudu, The Niyyah for Wudu is to make the intention in your heart that you are performing Wudu in order to prepare for Salah, the obligatory prayers. You can also say the words “Bismillah” (in the name of Allah) as a way of making the Niyyah. The Niyyah is not something that needs to be said aloud, but it is important to make it sincerely in your heart.

Wash Your hand
Take water in your right hand and rinse your mouth three times. Swirl it around in your cheeks and the back of your throat diligently to remove any remaining food particles from your mouth.

Wash Your Mouth
Use your right hand to cup water into your mouth three times. Swish it around in your cheeks and the back of your throat. Do this thoroughly to get all the remaining food in your mouth out.

Inhale Water Into Your Nose
Using your right hand, draw water into your nostrils three times, with the option to employ your left hand to block one nostril if necessary. Inhale briskly and carefully, avoiding excessive water intake to prevent choking. If inhaling water into your nose is challenging, moisten your fingers and apply water to the lower part of your nostrils as an alternative.
Always ensure the use of safe water for this ritual. In certain warmer regions of the world, water may harbor Naegleria fowleri, an amoeba that, if introduced into the nostrils, can lead to a rare but often fatal brain infection. Even tap water may carry contamination risks. To safeguard against this illness, it’s advisable to boil the water for one minute (three minutes at higher elevations) and allow it to cool before using it to rinse your nose.

Wash Your Face
Cleanse your face three times, moving your hands from your right ear to your left, and from your hairline to your chin.

Wash Your Arms
Thoroughly cleanse your lower arms, covering every part from your wrists to your elbows. Begin by washing your right arm with your left hand three times, and then wash your left arm with your right hand three times, ensuring no area remains dry between your wrists and elbows.

Clean Your Head
Using your wet hands, delicately cleanse your head. Start by gently wiping your forehead from the eyebrows to the hairline, and continue by wiping down your hair, the back of your neck, and your temples. Complete this process once.

Wipe your ears inside and out
Clean both the inside and outside of your ears using the same water, making sure to use your finger to reach all the crevices. Then, utilize your thumb to clean behind your ears from the bottom up. This procedure should be performed once.
Next, wet your hands and position your palms flat on the top of your head, starting at the hairline. Wipe your hands to the back of your neck, and then back to the front.

Wash Each Of Your Feet
Thoroughly cleanse each of your feet up to your ankles, making sure to allow water to reach between your toes. Employ your pinky finger to clear any debris from between each toe. Begin with your right foot and scrub each foot three times.

Prayer
With your right index finger raised toward the sky, recite a brief prayer of witness. the prayer is as follows:
اَشْهَدُ اَنْ لَّا اِلٰهَ اِلَّا اللّٰهُ وَاَشْهَدُ اَنَّ مُحَمَّدًا عَبْدُهٗ وَرَسُوْلُهٗ
Ashhadu Alla Ilaha Illallah Wa Ashhadu Anna Muhammadan ‘Abduhu Wa Rasuluhu
I bear that none has the right to be worshipped but Allah, and I also bear that Muhammad (peace be upon him ) is Allah’s slave and His Messenger.
