سَبِّحِ اسۡمَ رَبِّكَ الۡاَعۡلَىۙ‏﴿۱﴾

Exalt the name of your Lord, the Most High

الَّذِىۡ خَلَقَ فَسَوّٰى ۙ‏﴿۲﴾

Who created and proportioned

وَالَّذِىۡ قَدَّرَ فَهَدٰى ۙ‏﴿۳﴾

And who destined and [then] guided

وَالَّذِىۡۤ اَخۡرَجَ الۡمَرۡعٰى ۙ‏﴿۴﴾

And who brings out the pasture

فَجَعَلَهٗ غُثَآءً اَحۡوٰىؕ‏﴿۵﴾

And [then] makes it black stubble

سَنُقۡرِئُكَ فَلَا تَنۡسٰٓىۙ‏﴿۶﴾

We will make you recite, [O Muhammad], and you will not forget

اِلَّا مَا شَآءَ اللّٰهُ‌ؕ اِنَّهٗ يَعۡلَمُ الۡجَهۡرَ وَمَا يَخۡفٰىؕ‏﴿۷﴾

Except what Allah should will. Indeed, He knows what is declared and what is hidden

وَنُيَسِّرُكَ لِلۡيُسۡرٰى ‌ۖ‌ۚ‏﴿۸﴾

And We will ease you toward ease

فَذَكِّرۡ اِنۡ نَّفَعَتِ الذِّكۡرٰىؕ‏﴿۹﴾

So remind, if the reminder should benefit

سَيَذَّكَّرُ مَنۡ يَّخۡشٰىۙ‏﴿۱۰﴾

He who fears [Allah] will be reminded

وَيَتَجَنَّبُهَا الۡاَشۡقَىۙ‏﴿۱۱﴾

But the wretched one will avoid it

الَّذِىۡ يَصۡلَى النَّارَ الۡكُبۡرٰى‌ۚ‏﴿۱۲﴾

[He] who will [enter and] burn in the greatest Fire

ثُمَّ لَا يَمُوۡتُ فِيۡهَا وَلَا يَحۡيٰىؕ‏﴿۱۳﴾

Neither dying therein nor living

قَدۡ اَفۡلَحَ مَنۡ تَزَكّٰىۙ‏﴿۱۴﴾

He has certainly succeeded who purifies himself

وَذَكَرَ اسۡمَ رَبِّهٖ فَصَلّٰى‌ ؕ‏﴿۱۵﴾

And mentions the name of his Lord and prays

بَلۡ تُؤۡثِرُوۡنَ الۡحَيٰوةَ الدُّنۡيَا ۖ‏﴿۱۶﴾

But you prefer the worldly life

وَالۡاٰخِرَةُ خَيۡرٌ وَّ اَبۡقٰىؕ‏﴿۱۷﴾

While the Hereafter is better and more enduring

اِنَّ هٰذَا لَفِى الصُّحُفِ الۡاُوۡلٰىۙ ‏﴿۱۸﴾

Indeed, this is in the former scriptures

صُحُفِ اِبۡرٰهِيۡمَ وَمُوۡسٰى‏﴿۱۹﴾

The scriptures of Abraham and Moses
