اَلَمۡ نَشۡرَحۡ لَـكَ صَدۡرَكَۙ‏﴿۱﴾

Did We not expand for you, [O Muhammad], your breast

وَوَضَعۡنَا عَنۡكَ وِزۡرَكَۙ‏﴿۲﴾

And We removed from you your burden

الَّذِىۡۤ اَنۡقَضَ ظَهۡرَكَۙ‏﴿۳﴾

Which had weighed upon your back

وَرَفَعۡنَا لَـكَ ذِكۡرَكَؕ‏﴿۴﴾

And raised high for you your repute

فَاِنَّ مَعَ الۡعُسۡرِ يُسۡرًا ۙ‏﴿۵﴾

For indeed, with hardship [will be] ease

اِنَّ مَعَ الۡعُسۡرِ يُسۡرًا ؕ‏﴿۶﴾

Indeed, with hardship [will be] ease

فَاِذَا فَرَغۡتَ فَانۡصَبۡۙ ‏﴿۷﴾

So when you have finished [your duties], then stand up [for worship]

وَاِلٰى رَبِّكَ فَارۡغَب‏﴿۸﴾

And to your Lord direct [your] longing
