وَالۡمُرۡسَلٰتِ عُرۡفًا ۙ‏﴿۱﴾

By those [winds] sent forth in gusts

فَالۡعٰصِفٰتِ عَصۡفًا ۙ‏﴿۲﴾

And the winds that blow violently

وَّالنّٰشِرٰتِ نَشۡرًا ۙ‏﴿۳﴾

And [by] the winds that spread [clouds]

فَالۡفٰرِقٰتِ فَرۡقًا ۙ‏﴿۴﴾

And those [angels] who bring criterion

فَالۡمُلۡقِيٰتِ ذِكۡرًا ۙ‏﴿۵﴾

And those [angels] who deliver a message

عُذۡرًا اَوۡ نُذۡرًا ۙ‏﴿۶﴾

As justification or warning

اِنَّمَا تُوۡعَدُوۡنَ لَوَاقِعٌ ؕ‏﴿۷﴾

Indeed, what you are promised is to occur

فَاِذَا النُّجُوۡمُ طُمِسَتۡۙ‏﴿۸﴾

So when the stars are obliterated

وَ اِذَا السَّمَآءُ فُرِجَتۡۙ‏﴿۹﴾

And when the heaven is opened

وَاِذَا الۡجِبَالُ نُسِفَتۡۙ‏﴿۱۰﴾

And when the mountains are blown away

وَاِذَا الرُّسُلُ اُقِّتَتۡؕ‏﴿۱۱﴾

And when the messengers' time has come

لِاَىِّ يَوۡمٍ اُجِّلَتۡؕ‏﴿۱۲﴾

For what Day was it postponed

لِيَوۡمِ الۡفَصۡلِ‌ۚ‏﴿۱۳﴾

For the Day of Judgement

وَمَاۤ اَدۡرٰٮكَ مَا يَوۡمُ الۡفَصۡلِؕ‏﴿۱۴﴾

And what can make you know what is the Day of Judgement

وَيۡلٌ يَّوۡمَٮِٕذٍ لِّلۡمُكَذِّبِيۡنَ‏﴿۱۵﴾

Woe, that Day, to the deniers

اَلَمۡ نُهۡلِكِ الۡاَوَّلِيۡنَؕ‏﴿۱۶﴾

Did We not destroy the former peoples

ثُمَّ نُتۡبِعُهُمُ الۡاٰخِرِيۡنَ‏﴿۱۷﴾

Then We will follow them with the later ones

كَذٰلِكَ نَفۡعَلُ بِالۡمُجۡرِمِيۡنَ‏﴿۱۸﴾

Thus do We deal with the criminals

وَيۡلٌ يَّوۡمَٮِٕذٍ لِّلۡمُكَذِّبِيۡنَ‏﴿۱۹﴾

Woe, that Day, to the deniers

اَلَمۡ نَخۡلُقۡكُّمۡ مِّنۡ مَّآءٍ مَّهِيۡنٍۙ‏﴿۲۰﴾

Did We not create you from a liquid disdained

فَجَعَلۡنٰهُ فِىۡ قَرَارٍ مَّكِيۡنٍۙ‏﴿۲۱﴾

And We placed it in a firm lodging

اِلٰى قَدَرٍ مَّعۡلُوۡمٍۙ‏﴿۲۲﴾

For a known extent

فَقَدَرۡنَا ۖ فَنِعۡمَ الۡقٰدِرُوۡنَ‏﴿۲۳﴾

And We determined [it], and excellent [are We] to determine

وَيۡلٌ يَّوۡمَٮِٕذٍ لِّلۡمُكَذِّبِيۡنَ‏﴿۲۴﴾

Woe, that Day, to the deniers

اَلَمۡ نَجۡعَلِ الۡاَرۡضَ كِفَاتًا ۙ‏﴿۲۵﴾

Have We not made the earth a container

اَحۡيَآءً وَّاَمۡوَاتًا ۙ‏﴿۲۶﴾

Of the living and the dead

وَّجَعَلۡنَا فِيۡهَا رَوَاسِىَ شٰمِخٰتٍ وَّ اَسۡقَيۡنٰكُمۡ مَّآءً فُرَاتًا ؕ‏﴿۲۷﴾

And We placed therein lofty, firmly set mountains and have given you to drink sweet water

وَيۡلٌ يَّوۡمَٮِٕذٍ لِّلۡمُكَذِّبِيۡنَ‏﴿۲۸﴾

Woe, that Day, to the deniers

اِنْطَلِقُوۡۤا اِلٰى مَا كُنۡتُمۡ بِهٖ تُكَذِّبُوۡنَ‌ۚ‏﴿۲۹﴾

[They will be told], "Proceed to that which you used to deny

اِنْطَلِقُوۡۤا اِلٰى ظِلٍّ ذِىۡ ثَلٰثِ شُعَبٍۙ‏﴿۳۰﴾

Proceed to a shadow [of smoke] having three columns

لَّا ظَلِيۡلٍ وَّلَا يُغۡنِىۡ مِنَ اللَّهَبِؕ‏﴿۳۱﴾

[But having] no cool shade and availing not against the flame

اِنَّهَا تَرۡمِىۡ بِشَرَرٍ كَالۡقَصۡرِ‌ۚ‏﴿۳۲﴾

Indeed, it throws sparks [as huge] as a fortress

كَاَنَّهٗ جِمٰلَتٌ صُفۡرٌ ؕ‏﴿۳۳﴾

As if they were yellowish [black] camels

وَيۡلٌ يَّوۡمَٮِٕذٍ لِّلۡمُكَذِّبِيۡنَ‏﴿۳۴﴾

Woe, that Day, to the deniers

هٰذَا يَوۡمُ لَا يَنۡطِقُوۡنَۙ‏﴿۳۵﴾

This is a Day they will not speak

وَلَا يُؤۡذَنُ لَهُمۡ فَيَـعۡتَذِرُوۡنَ‏﴿۳۶﴾

Nor will it be permitted for them to make an excuse

وَيۡلٌ يَّوۡمَٮِٕذٍ لِّلۡمُكَذِّبِيۡنَ‏﴿۳۷﴾

Woe, that Day, to the deniers

هٰذَا يَوۡمُ الۡفَصۡلِ‌ۚ جَمَعۡنٰكُمۡ وَالۡاَوَّلِيۡنَ‏﴿۳۸﴾

This is the Day of Judgement; We will have assembled you and the former peoples

فَاِنۡ كَانَ لَـكُمۡ كَيۡدٌ فَكِيۡدُوۡنِ‏﴿۳۹﴾

So if you have a plan, then plan against Me

وَيۡلٌ يَّوۡمَٮِٕذٍ لِّلۡمُكَذِّبِيۡنَ‏﴿۴۰﴾

Woe, that Day, to the deniers

اِنَّ الۡمُتَّقِيۡنَ فِىۡ ظِلٰلٍ وَّعُيُوۡنٍۙ‏﴿۴۱﴾

Indeed, the righteous will be among shades and springs

وَّفَوَاكِهَ مِمَّا يَشۡتَهُوۡنَؕ‏﴿۴۲﴾

And fruits from whatever they desire

كُلُوۡا وَاشۡرَبُوۡا هَنِيْٓئًا ۢ بِمَا كُنۡتُمۡ تَعۡمَلُوۡنَ‏﴿۴۳﴾

[Being told], "Eat and drink in satisfaction for what you used to do

اِنَّا كَذٰلِكَ نَجۡزِى الۡمُحۡسِنِيۡنَ ‏﴿۴۴﴾

Indeed, We thus reward the doers of good

وَيۡلٌ يَّوۡمَٮِٕذٍ لِّلۡمُكَذِّبِيۡنَ‏﴿۴۵﴾

Woe, that Day, to the deniers

كُلُوۡا وَتَمَتَّعُوۡا قَلِيۡلًا اِنَّكُمۡ مُّجۡرِمُوۡنَ‏﴿۴۶﴾

[O disbelievers], eat and enjoy yourselves a little; indeed, you are criminals

وَيۡلٌ يَّوۡمَٮِٕذٍ لِّلۡمُكَذِّبِيۡنَ‏﴿۴۷﴾

Woe, that Day, to the deniers

وَاِذَا قِيۡلَ لَهُمُ ارۡكَعُوۡا لَا يَرۡكَعُوۡنَ‏﴿۴۸﴾

And when it is said to them, "Bow [in prayer]," they do not bow

وَيۡلٌ يَّوۡمَٮِٕذٍ لِّلۡمُكَذِّبِيۡنَ‏﴿۴۹﴾

Woe, that Day, to the deniers

فَبِاَىِّ حَدِيۡثٍۢ بَعۡدَهٗ يُؤۡمِنُوۡنَ‏﴿۵۰﴾

Then in what statement after the Qur'an will they believe
